SUCHI’s global-inspired club vision is joyous, a technicolor-hued wonder of eclectic dancefloor propulsions that sees her output as a producer, DJ, label/party founder at Ikke Sant and Rinse FM residency shine singularly. Her tracks mark her artistic high point; kinetically bouncing around polyrhythms and flighted melodies, situated within a modern house framework and buoyant by weighty low ends. Last year’s breakout EP ‘Birdy Bell’ for Ghostly International’s Spectral Sound sub-label highlighted this best, a 4-track knockout of modern house groove wrapped in prog sensibilities that included a remix from Nick León and touted as one of 2023’s standout releases by Resident Advisor and Mixmag. Ghungroo, her debut EP for the seminal !K7 features a rework from Sam Goku and was included in April's best new music by RA. This EP further extrapolates on her burgeoning talent while finessing her voice, an EP of undeniably euphoric and psychedelic dance music.
