“I've used some iteration of Moog bass on nearly every single production I've ever made. I love the huge creamy low end that you get from Moog. I’ve owned and used Minimoogs, Little Phattys, Minitaurs and all the plugin versions and they will all give you that rich deep Moog sound but of all the VST iterations I slightly prefer the UAD offering.”

“Good old H Delay! Theres something about the sound of this delay especially in the ping pong setting that just always sounds exactly right and it’s so simple, ive used it on literally every single track I've made.“

“I feel like you need to be realllllly careful when getting into the eurorack world, it can become a black hole that will swallow up all your money and time. That being said there are definitely modules out there that do things in a way that is either very difficult or simply not possible to recreate exactly in the software domain. Phonogene is one of those modules, its essentially a digital tape machine / sampler but its the interation of the perimeters on the unit that create very interesting and unique effects that I find often leads to new and interesting ideas.”

“Im not sure this qualifies as equipment exactly but this is one of Ableton’s best secret weapons and is a game changer for working with drum loops and transient sounds, basically by reducing the duration of the envelope inside the Ableton clip editor you can get really punchy almost gated drum sounds that really can help to add space and dynamics to your tracks without any fancy compression or gating techniques, definitely one of my most used features in Ableton!”
